About Sarah
Hello, I am Sarah and am currently a graduate student in the Relationship, Marriage and Family Counseling program at William & Mary under the supervision of Dr. Jordan Luck. As a former special education teacher, wife and mother of three, I empathize with those attempting to juggle all the challenges life presents and look forward to being able to walk along with you on your journey.
As a counselor, I believe everyone has the capacity to tap into their strengths, self-reflect, and make lasting changes within. Using a person-centered approach with elements of Emotion-Focused Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Positive Psychology, I seek to help others become the best versions of themselves, ultimately affecting those they love most.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my family and two dogs, visiting old friends, volunteering at my kids’ school, and occasionally watching a good thunderstorm. Over the years, I have realized that maintaining balance is essential for my personal well-being, and I am passionate about helping you find yours!
