About Jennifer

My name is Jennifer Ferrari, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Williamsburg, Virginia. I am a double alum of the College of William & Mary with a B.A. in Anthropology, ’09 and an M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health and Addictions Counseling, ’22. My background in Anthropology informs my respect for the broader context of your life including culture, relationships, and lived experience.

I work with individuals who may be feeling stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure of themselves, especially within their relationships. Many of the people I see are used to functioning at a high level, but feel burned out or stuck about how to solve their problems.

My approach is relational, collaborative, and insight-oriented. I draw from psychodynamic, attachment-based, and trauma-informed perspectives to help you better understand yourself and the patterns that shape your relationships. Together, we create space to explore your experiences, build self-awareness, and begin shifting what no longer feels aligned.

I have experience working with a variety of settings including acute care and residential substance abuse treatment. I am passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves, develop more fulfilling relationships, and move through periods of identity change with greater clarity and confidence.

Please feel free to reach out if you think we might be a good fit. I look forward to connecting with you.
