About Karina

Karina is a Resident in Counseling and a Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy at Complete Therapeutic Solutions. She earned her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Couples, Marriage, and Family Counseling from the College of William & Mary, graduating in 2025. She practices under the supervision of Jordan Luck, Ph.D., LPC, LMFT.

Karina primarily works with adults and couples and approaches therapy from a relational, systems-based perspective. Her work is informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, attachment-based frameworks, and cognitive-behavioral principles. She believes that relationships and emotional connections play a central role in well-being and works collaboratively with clients to strengthen communication, deepen insight, and foster healthier patterns of connection.

She has experience supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, and stress related to identity, culture, and belonging. Karina values counseling that is accessible, culturally responsive, and grounded in respect for each client’s unique experiences, identities, and beliefs.

Karina is bilingual in English and Spanish and is able to offer therapy in Spanish as needed, helping reduce language barriers and expand access to care.

She currently provides telehealth-only services.

Outside of her clinical work, Karina enjoys crocheting while watching Netflix, reading, spending time with friends and family, and relaxing with a good cup of coffee.
