What Is Art Therapy?
Art therapy integrates art and creative expression with professional psychotherapy.
In our sessions, you’ll use art-making (drawing, painting, collage, or other media) alongside reflection and conversation to:
- Reduce stress and emotional overwhelm
- Build a stronger, more compassionate relationship with yourself
- Explore emotions you may not yet have words for
- Reconnect with your inner strengths and values
All sessions are led by a Board-Certified Art Therapist, grounded in an integrative model that includes:
✅ Positive Psychology — building optimism, meaning, and joy
✅ Strengths-Based Therapy — uncovering your internal resources
✅ Person-Centered Approach — honoring your pace, your voice, your experience
Who It's For
You might be a good fit for art therapy if:
- You feel anxious, low, or burned out
- You’re navigating a life transition or relationship strain
- You want to build self-confidence or rediscover your purpose
- You’ve struggled with self-expression or feel disconnected from your emotions
- You’re curious about exploring a new way to heal and grow

You don’t need to be an artist. You just need to be open.
This is a space where your creativity becomes a tool for healing, not something to perform or perfect. Whether you’re feeling stuck or just ready for a new kind of support, art therapy can help you (re)discover your strengths and step forward with greater clarity and care.
Not Sure Yet? Try This Quick Self-Check
Take a breath and ask yourself:
- Do I want a safe, creative space to explore what I’m feeling?
- Am I open to trying something beyond traditional talk therapy?
- Do I want to reconnect with my strengths, purpose, or self-worth?
- Do I long to feel more calm, confident, and emotionally resilient?
If you said yes to even a few of these, art therapy could be a meaningful next step.
