About Meg
Hi there, I’m Meg. If you’re feeling stuck, losing sleep, experiencing racing thoughts, or realizing you simply don’t feel like yourself anymore, you may be searching for practical tools and meaningful connection. In therapy, we can work collaboratively to unpack your story, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and take concrete steps toward the person and life you want to build. Along the way, we’ll develop tools you can use to navigate challenges with greater confidence.
I work with adults ages 18 and older, with a particular interest in trauma and EMDR, anxiety and the transition to college, and identity-based life transitions. These transitions may include forming your identity during college or early adulthood, separating from parental expectations, exploring LGBTQIA+ identity, transitioning from military service to civilian life, or navigating a career change that affects how you see yourself.
At my clinical core, I am a person-centered therapist, and I often use mindfulness, narrative therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my work with clients. I am also EMDR trained to help clients process traumatic experiences and reduce the ways the past may be affecting their lives today. Together, we can clarify what matters to you, practice responding differently to difficult thoughts and emotions, and work toward changes that feel meaningful and sustainable.
I strive to provide a warm, safe space for connection, collaboration, and change. Empathy and strengths-based care are at the heart of my work with clients.
Whether you are new to counseling or have been in counseling before, seeking support is a brave step toward taking care of yourself. As a trauma-informed Resident, I hope to help you understand what your experiences mean within your unique context and determine what you want to do next. If this resonates with you, please reach out to take the next step.
